Every year. DeviantART do an art purge and I have to check EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. of my 2000 artworks for compliance in a hurry, hoping to not get in trouble. Lots of friends disappear, get banned or just move on. And my paid subscription, which I've been maintaining non-stop for over 7 years gets ever more useless.

I'm just tired. This is deviantART, the site where you post deviant ART. But every time they keep finding ways to ban the deviant stuff that's the very namesake of the site.

I probably would move to Twitter if they weren't also going the way of the dodo. What's happening to the internet? Whatever. I won't stay here enough to figure that out. Bye.

Edit: I calmed down now. It's really annoying that I can't just quickly disable a set of images while leaving others intact so that I could re-veto the images under the new interpretation of the ToS. Because the moderation always kills you before talk to you, I had to take down all of the 1600 artworks FIRST to then bring them back one by one. Do you guys have an idea of how long it will take to make sure only the okay stuff is available? It'll take me months. This site is super weird.

And they don't want "fringe content" on the site anymore. You know what that means, right? Of course you don't. Nobody does. I thought my content wasn't that fringe but what do we know? They don't say it. You assume something but then they start scaring everyone and banning accounts you thought weren't fringe and you're not so sure anymore. Some content will be back but I feel much more insecure about what's allowed or not so don't hope to see some of the images soon. I'll look into alternatives for the more "in-fringe-ing" material.

Now stop uploading my stuff if it's not your commission, you're just making it harder for me to come back.

I'm planning to add more types of commissions in the future, like full featured comics, webcomic strips, cheap sketches and avatars, so keep an eye out and let me know if there's any interest.

Gonna use my vacation time to try to finish the old commissions and grab some new ones.

No Porn (NSFWish is okay)

No Gore, No Scat, No Futa, No Naked, etc)

No Real People (avoid popular characters too)

Delivery time?

Between 3 hours and 6 months. Feel free to remind me if I forget.

I tend to bill only after the sketch is approved though. For people I trust, I'll bill only when I already finished drawing, so there's no risk of me absconding with your money when I get in one of those weird hiatus thing.
